JAPAN Global Center for Urban Sanitation (GCUS) was established in April 2009 in order to contribute to development of overseas sewerage, especially in developing countries. As one of GCUS activities, urban sanitation study group which consists of 20 enterprises and institute (JIWET) was set up. The objectives of this study group are to research sewerage technology trend, to carry out a feasibility study on urban sanitation technology and to disseminate technical information in developing countries.
